2025 Spring Giving
From April 30–May 2, 2025, we invite you to stand with Peaceful Schools NC as we work to meet the urgent and growing need for safe, healthy school communities.
Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, we were able to allocate $32,000 this year to subsidize programming for Title 1 public schools. But the need is greater—and growing. For the 2025–2026 school year, we are determined to double that investment so we can say “yes” to more schools seeking help transforming their school culture.
Your continued support makes this possible. Thank you for walking alongside us through the years—and for believing in what’s possible when we build peace, together.
Our Goals
PUBLIC SCHOOL PROGRAMMING
Our greatest need! The demand for public school support is high, and we need your help to say “yes.” Your support of our work is a direct investment in public schools.
STUDENT LEADERSHIP DAYS
Help us inspire our community’s future change-makers! Your support allows us to sustain Student Day at no cost to our partner schools.
FREE COMMUNITY PROGRAMMING
This year, we provided free, accessible Restorative Practices training to caregivers and educators from 10 states and 5 countries. Help us continue these offerings.
Durham Public Schools Partnership
Durham Public Schools is reimagining school culture—one restorative action at a time.
With a renewed commitment to restorative approaches to discipline, DPS is shifting away from punitive models and toward practices that prioritize healing, accountability, and community.
Peaceful Schools NC is proud to partner with Durham Public Schools to help bring this vision to life across the district—ensuring the work is thorough, authentic, and sustainable.
Support the movement. Your gift to Peaceful Schools NC is more than a donation—it's a direct investment in thriving, connected public schools.
